Cook County
Criminal Justice Data Dashboard
Welcome to the Cook County Criminal Justice Data Dashboard. The goal of this dashboard is to ensure that all justice system practitioners and policy makers, social service providers, advocates, and the general public have access to the most timely and accessible data about the extent and nature of crime in Cook County and how the justice system responds to and handles criminal cases. Through a partnership among all criminal justice system agencies in the county, this dashboard makes the criminal justice system more transparent and understandable for all and provides an opportunity to use data to make Cook County as safe and as fair as it can be.
The following pages present data on crime, arrests, criminal case filings and dispositions, sentences, jail populations, probation populations, and prison and parole populations. Data cover the period from 2018 to the present and are updated quarterly.
